The breast cancer afflicts an estimated figure of more than ONE MILLION women in the world each year and is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths among women worldwide, second to lung cancer
ONE MILLION afflicted women, almost 45% of those women live in developing countries
The new cases of female breast cancer reported in Malaysia in 2003, 64% of these cases were women between the ages of 40 to 60 years old
Chinese women seemed to be at greatest risk,
with an incidence of 59.7 per 100,000;
followed by Indian women (55.8 per 100,000) and
Malay women (33.9 per 100,000)
The early detection and getting appropriate medical attention can help save lives. So it is unfortunate in Malaysia that nearly 40% of the new cases identified each year were already in the very advanced stages of the disease.

i juz wanna giv sum opinion dat mybe u gals should post sum more information bout diz cancer. perhaps diz is juz da beginning. i would like 2 suggest diz website, http://www.makna.org.my/breastcancer.asp. since MAKNA is 'Majlis Kanser Nasional' so they might have many information regarding all cancers.. tq..

of course we know but not many..juz a few men only..hmm from that percentage it's show that chinese women who get breast cancer are highest then other race women..wau so fantastic...

chinese women have highest risk to get this diseases. I think it is because of food factor...
nowadays many food have a oil...so many oil in the food..
that's not good for our health..its the cause for many illnesses..
i dont think so,bcoz chinesse women like 2 eat healthy food like soup..
they also always take herbal medicine..so why they are to highest to get breast cancer??from that result women who get breast cancer between 40-60 years old??why that happen??from my information teenagers also can get breast cancer to...

what i would to say...i read some page from this website..this website gave the answer to this question teenagers extremely rare with breast cancer..teenagers should check their breast like a few days after thier period..some kind of lump that teenagers have in normal but doctor should check it...that's i understand with the statement...so we must beware and shuld check "ours" a few days after we get a period..

why chinese women have a highest risk?I read some slide from Dr Patricia Gomez..she is consultant from surgeon Pantai Medical Center..women chinese have a highest risk because they are more likely have fewer children and also to breast-feed for the shorter times
second..they also generated with higgest socioeconomic status and diet
and third..they always check to the medical center about their health..that's why they are more record get this cancer than other race like Malay
so..miss wong..dont worry about this statistic..but we as a women must beware to this cancer since we know it.

i read a newspaper about breast cancer.it say "fmly must be a good motivatr and always give mtvtion&spirit to make they not give up and their life have to go on"

i'm very agree about this statement bcoz fmly is a suitable person to give advise n spirit n fmly also a very close person with them.
4 simple reason..this breast cancer must get a motivater 2 support them 2 continue their live n get spirit from that supporter..
